Students must be introduced to the principles and basic
movements of the Pilates work. Basic movements include using breathwork
and cueing and imagery to teach standing and centering. The student
wishing to enroll in Mat or Equipment Classes must first have this foundation. All
new students are required to schedule private sessions of one
hour each.
Several
times a year we offer beginner mat classes which run 2 days per week
for a period of four weeks.
