| There are currently 12,000 Pilates teachers practicing in this country..... 2800 are properly certified and qualified to teach. You have a better chance of getting a poorly trained instructor than a properly trained teacher. The Pilates Method Alliance sets the guidelines and is raising the standards of teachers by organizing a national test. It is important as consumers to know and understand the difference between a good and bad Pilates class and it is important for instructors to understand that this important body of work is not learned in a weekend. This event is a fundraiser to help create those standards and we hope everyone can be a part of it. Please contact the studio for a list of events and ways you can help. |
